La Seyne-sur-Mer, also known simply as La Seyne, is an industrial suburb of Toulon found in southeastern France. The town is located on Cape Sicié, part of the Toulon roadstead in the Mediterranean. The Balaguier Fortress, built in the 17th century for defense, is now a naval museum in La Seyne, and there is strong evidence of a local history built by the shipyard. A railway station in town allows quick and easy travel to cities such as Toulon, Marseille and Nice. In addition to exploration outside La Seyne, there is plenty for guests to do within the town itself. Take a stroll along the white sand beaches of Sablettes, enjoy the challenge of an adventure course in the trees, spend the day sailing on the sea, or enjoy a gamble at the casino in the Tamarisk neighborhood.
