Pangnirtung is located at the mouth of Pangnirtung Fjord, which merges with Cumberland Sound. It is an ideal area to explore Inuit culture and their high-quality traditional art, especially textiles. Pangnirtung is also the closest town to Auyuittuq National Park, a national park located on Baffin Island that features many terrains of Arctic wilderness, such as fjords, glaciers, and ice fields.
